Crazy little thing called graduation

Long, protracted update posts aren't really my cuppa tea, so I'll get you all up to speed in a much more efficient way-- with photos {duh}. Last week, our left coast family came into town to celebrate the mister's graduation from law school. Here are some of the highlights:

Philly weekend:
City of brotherly...

Valley Forge:
Yeah... we're corny like that

Strike a pose

Center City:

"It's the eye of the tiger..."

Whiskey King. hands down, best burger ever. Thank you, Jose Garces!

oh, and short rib fries, what the whattt.

Back home {womp}
Kisses for Mama Willi

Great Falls

DC tourism at its best...
Moms and grandma

Mount Vernon: George Washington's tree... the one that wasn't chopped down.

O's v. Yanks...
like father:

like son:

duh

 Yay, graduate!

Don't worry, the gown was zipped up for the ceremony

So ends our week. And now I'm exhausted.

I've finally realized the only downside to having my awesome camera... I'm never in any photos because other people can't figure it out. It's not that it's so fancy... it's just that it's not a point-and-shoot, which is what people are used to. I'm currently educating hubbo so I can start popping up in my life {imagine that}!

ETA: Lovely sister-in-law just reminded me she rocked some photos at the Phila "LOVE" sign. You definitely deserve your propers, J Willi. Thanks, boo :)

  2. Ummm I TOTALLY know how to use your camera! If I remember correctly I snapped at least 3 photos of you guys at the LOVE sign, so at least you were in a few from this trip haha. And I have some of you! Just not on a fancy camera ;)

  3. J Willi- you're totally right! I just hooked you up with a shoutout :) I would have posted our "ironic" love sign photos if not for the afro puff ponytail I was sporting. Woe is me in humidity.

Post pics to Picasa post haste, woman!
